Why am I asking you questions?
    why not?

What does Soul Food mean to you?
hmmm... the album or the eats? Soul Food the album does what all art does, it speaks for itself. soul food the eats is a current usage phrase springing from specific ethnic and cultural roots... and to these i cannot speak as they are not my roots. thus, i must look within. for me soul food is that which is produced with minimum harm to bird or animal or the earth; which truly nourishes, sustains and invigorates; that is fresh and wholesome and provides a pathway to life, enlightenment and transcendence; and finally, is food which is produced with regard to the well-being of the farmer, transporter, retailer and consumer.

If you could create any food and music experience what would it be?
    plain wood table draped white
    two settings candle light
    aglint on silver glasses filled
to brim with water pure chilled
    ocean sounds window wide
    briny breeze high tide
fish plattered on bed of green
and a reedy sax blowin' soft and mean
