Heat Seekers Santa Fe Airs Tonight on Food Network Canada | September 8 2011This pic was taken driving into Santa Fe about 10 minutes outside of town. This is the first time in my life that I saw real tumbleweeds. To be honest, I thought tumbleweeds only existed in Westerns and cartoons before this. Guinness | September 5 2011Steve Gonzales from Top Chef Canada Season 1 fame is now the new title holder in the Guinness Book of World Records for longest continual grilling. Not sure how long he ended up staying but this pic was taken at the moment he tied the record at the 30 hour mark. Good one Steve.

Everyone was asking him how he trained for this challenge. His answer was "Im a Chef in restaurants, thats it." Nuff said.

Harboufront Cookoff | September 5 2011Yup, that is Kevin Brauch and Ivy Knight at the judges table with me. We judged the 8th annual Harbourfront "Iron Chef" competition today. The finalists were Toronto versus Turks and Caicos. Look at the serious looks on the faces of these two. Many many jokes, if you were there then you know what Im talking about.

Golf BBQ | September 2 2011Yesterday I spent the day cooking a bunch of food for some drunken golfers. It was a very very funny day. Good hungry crowd who appreciated the food. I served em up:
- Jerk Shrimp Taco
- Moroccan Spiced Ribs
- Steak Sandwiches with Truffle Mushroom Mayo
