Had a radio interview on 107.3FM in Atlantic City this afternoon with Ching from Chinese Food Made Easy on Cooking Channel. It was like being in a band again where we would all be in studio doing one interview. I havent done one of those in a hot minute.
When we walked into the office they greeted us with this sign. Very welcoming. We had a lot of jokes on air and banged out some station ID's as well. Call them and tell them you want to hear my drops on air, I was roaring. Ching was meowing. Cat Radio - get it...
NBC This Morning | July 30 2010
Ching (she has a show on Cooking Channel as well) and I did a piece on NBC in Atlantic City a little bit ago. I wanted to big up the crew that helped us bang this out as we didnt hear about this interview until 10pm last night. It was 10am this morning. The entire kitchen crew at the hotel here did a great job pulling everything together for this last minute shoot. Thanks everyone, you did an amazing job and the interview went very well. Things change quickly and they bounced in right away. Got to hang with Ching a bit, she has 3 cook books under her belt and is an absolute sweetheart. All the way from London England, jetlagged and all; you would never know it. Maybe she will show up on a Soul Food Spotlight some time soon. Look out.

Took the train to Atlantic City for the first time. It was good to doze off on a rocking train actually. When I opened my eyes we had stopped on this platform and I snapped this shot.
